Joseph Grace, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, spent 12 years as President of a Florida-based senior housing development company that  participated in the development of over 600 assisted living rooms in six facilities along the west coast of Florida. Mr. Grace has been instrumental in assembling all of the various participants in Southern Senior Living from his many contacts throughout the industry. Mr. Grace participates in strategic and day to day decisions – especially regarding executive personnel and asset management.

Paul Newman, President and Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder, has 28 years experience in the operations of senior housing facilities with Marriott/Health Care Industries and the Hyatt Corporation. He was Director of Operations for Encore Senior Living in charge of 860 units and 500 employees leading a turnaround of distress properties culminating in a portfolio sale at full occupancy. Mr. Newman runs day to day operations for all facilities including training personnel for upper management advancement.

Jill Newman, Finance Director, has 17 years experience in the senior living industry overseeing multiple communities financial teams on how to achieve meeting company expectations in expenses, revenues, preparing budgets and reports.  Ms. Newman runs the day to day operations for the business offices at all communities.
